The Scenario
Some homes have a natural charm all their own. When Andreas
Frietag bought this rustic house in 2002, he loved its character
but needed more room, and he wanted to preserve the heritage
of the property.
The Solution
Bavco built a new office complete with
walk-out verandah on the side of the house, leaving the traditional
front mostly intact. Inside, a new kitchen joined the old
house with the new, where archways between rooms featured
hand-crafted mouldings to imitate the existing design. Meanwhile,
a huge three-car garage went up, complete with a spacious
upstairs loft.
The Result
Frietag is awestruck by Bavco's commitment to quality. "The
standard of work is worthy of a museum," Frietag said.
